Roofbot - How to play

The goal is to guide roofie the final glowing tile on the roof. To get onto the tile you need to lower the steps on the tile by filling the empty colored slots on the roof.

Best part of the game is that the architecture of the roof changes for every step you take and there could probably be only one solution for each level.

In all, there are 120 gorgeous, meticulously designed levels covered in 20 stages. You will need to carry out more and more tasks in each level as you progress through the game.

Tasks involve carrying various colored shapes into the respective colored slots. Apart from these colored shapes there are also colored coins which you can kick into the hole in a straight line instead of carrying and dropping it.

ROOFBOT – WHAT OTHER REVIEWERS HAS TO SAY?
The game itself is good. Nice graphics, decent puzzles. However, it’s a nightmare to play. The swipe control is just awful. When teaching the game it won’t allow you to bypass certain things like using a hint for the first time. – 3 Stars Wonderboy27

Honestly, the levels might have been challenging but I never got that far because the controls made me lose my patience. – 3 out of 5 stars labelitlauren

Needs some better controls, the swipe to move mechanic isn’t all that smooth and gets tedious, also, frequently having to undo moves because I have to swipe for EVERY move is a little aggravating. Jakaha6766

ROOFBOT - WHAT I LIKE?

Graphics are great. 3d view of the roof makes it easy to get the whole picture. Music is very pleasing.

The bubble sounds the bot makes are delightful.

Details are amazing. The bot is cute and funny, it plays guitar or click some selfies if you leave it idle.

ROOFBOT - WHAT I DO NOT LIKE?

Game controls are not as good as the game. The 3d view makes it difficult to navigate the bot in right direction. I mean, for example, there is only a minute difference in what have to you do to make it go left and to go top.

Levels are challenging but many will not reach to the higher levels because the controls make you lose your patience.

You have to swipe for every single tile you want to move and the game is so focused on cute animations they lost sight of user experience.

Picking up a block slows down the character too much and there’s no way to just drag a single path you want him to follow. It takes 5 seconds to solve the puzzle and 25 seconds to execute.

There are only 3 clues that you can avail through out the game. Not for each level, these are for the whole game. This forces you to pay money for the extra clues or just give up once you cannot cross that particular level or find some solved video online.

Roofbot - Conclusion:

Overall, its a great game for the people who like to recall their childhood memories. Its all about putting the right shapes into right holes, but on a whole different level of cuteness and brain use.
